Beautiful castle in heart of Austria with breathtaking surroundings. Beautiful castle surrounded by a park-similar (30 hectares) property with old tree existence. The castle plant consists a main building (floor space of approx. 1500 m²) and 3 auxiliary buildings. This picturesque and unique castle, which is surrounded by old trees and a beautiful park came up for sale.

Surrounded by exceptional landscaping, the residence features three ponds, where the biggest bonds has its own boathouse. A brook flows through the park and to all three ponds. You will also find an old small chapel near the main building.

The castle is a two floor building. In its substantial elements the look now goes back to 18th Century. At its eastern side a square tower protrudes in the air. Under its baroque hood it shows a clock. A three arches portico is pre-aged to the garden side, which carries a roomy terrace. Their stone balustrade is nicely decorated. Over the terrace door a balcony with a wrought steel lattice is attached in the upper floor. The originally existing military elements had rather a decorative character but they are missing. The expanded surrounding wall with the ivy-framed tower was cleared away after 1864. Since at that time a maintained park surrounds the building.

The estate includes a tennis court, badminton court, 9 hole golf course, croquet place, 20 meters long swimming pool with large bath house, 6 garages and a 3 room apartment. Additional building with apartments for possible property/house keepers is present.

Muerzzuschlag is a town in northeastern Styria, Austria, the capital of the Muerzzuschlag District. In the late 19th century, the mountainous Semmering area was the site of the first alpine skiing attempts in Central Europe, which made it one of the oldest ski resorts of Austria, documented by the worlds largest skiing and winter sports museum. Muerzzuschlag received town privileges in 1923.
